Reducing Dementia Risk:
Michael Reese Wittke (National Alliance for Caregiving) and Susan DeMarois (Director, California Department of Aging) will give an overview of the BOLD Act (Building Our Largest Dementia Infrastructure), a public health initiative focused on reducing dementia.
Sharon Sha will give our year in review with a focus on novel therapies for dementia.
Kathy Kelly (Family Caregiver Alliance) and Heather Young (UC Davis) will discuss older adults with complex care needs. Jennifer Birdsall (CHE Behavioral Health) will orient the audience to her related video series.
Carla Perissinoto (UCSF) will discuss her fascinating work on loneliness.
